A New Blog is in Town

So we thought it would be fun to start a GC Blog for those who live in Roseburg, Oregon, or for those who want to check out what is going on in Roseburg, Oregon! We are a youth church of Jr. High, Sr. High, and College age young people who meet together once a week at least to worship God passionately and serve Him extremely.

Generation Church started in Kirkland, Wa with the vision of Pastor Jude Fouquier from The City Church. Now it is pastored by Pastor Judah and Chelsea Smith. We fell in love with their vision and how to approach a "new" kind of youth church. So, through blood, sweat, and tears (okay maybe not blood), we started our own Generation Church here in Roseburg, Oregon. It started for us on May 18, 2003. Since August of 2004 we moved to a weekly service and have seen consistant growth, both in numbers and in spirit. We love it here and we love our church. We have a great group of young people who we believe are going to take Douglas County for Christ, one person, one family, one block, one city, and one county at a time. And we won't stop there.

So, welcome to the blog. Here we will post pictures of things going on, news for up-and-coming events, and just a place to chat. We currently have a website at www.remixgeneration.com which is being revamped because we can't easily update it. So until then, we will just make due with our current website and our blog.

Leave comments, keep coming back. The goal is for weekly updates and news! And maybe your picture will appear on the blog (that is if you go to our Generation Church). Have I mentioned that we meet every week at 7:00pm at our home church, Garden Valley Christian Assembly. Located at 3047 Garden Valley Rd. in Roseburg. (Just 3 miles west of Exit 125, going towards River Forks park, just past the Melrose turn-off). Our Lounge opens at 5:30pm every thursday as well.

You need to contact someone? You can email Pastor Matthew at matthew@remixgeneration.com or Sabrina at sabrina@remixgeneration.com. We look forward to seeing you at GC!
